Our services

Enhance the performance of your printing and packaging machines and benefit from our comprehensive experience.

Based on our comprehensive process knowledge, we offer complete solutions from one single source. This includes planning, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering as well as integration/modification and after-sales service.

Our services help you increase your efficiency and the product range in your production line for paper processing and printing.

Below, you will find an extract of our solutions, in which we present the range of our services and, in addition to that, our references.

Retrofit

The mechanical basis of a paper converting machine is often still in a good condition, even after years. Due to discontinued electronics and unavailable spare parts, however, the availability of a production line is increasingly threatened. This is where we fit in. What is challenging when it comes to retrofit, is adapting new technologies to existing machines. We implement efficient and performance-boosting drive and control technologies. Our modernization goes easy on your budget.

  • Your benefits:

    • High system availability
    • Improved user-friendliness

    • Cost efficiency

Print mark control

Over the last few years, quality requirements in paper processing have increased considerably. Inline printing technology in particular, is no longer always able to guarantee sufficient printing quality. This is why preprinted reels are being used. Print mark control is required in order for them to be processed. We take care of planning, constructing and implementing cut-off register control in existing machinery.

  • Your benefits:

    • Wider product range
    • Shorter set-up times
    • Increased product quality

Print mark control in a bottomer

The customer’s existing machine has been equipped with the latest technology.

For this purpose we determined the mechanical interfaces in the existing machine.

We developed designs to implement a servomotor into a mechanical gear unit.

Moreover, the main machine was complemented by adding electrical design. The machine's interfaces were adapted to its add-ons.

After that, they were installed and implemented into the system for cover pages. This is how the customer was able to process the preprinted reels using cut-off register control and therefore, his product range was increased.

Thanks to excellent project management and individually coordinated installation processes, the retrofitting took place within a short period of time causing only minimum machine downtime. Finally, we put the retrofitted plant into operation and provided training.

From one drive shaft to individual drives

In this project, we modernized a printing unit with eight individual printing unit stands. We replaced the vertical shaft in the central drive by multiple individual drives. Any necessary mechanical adjustments for the direct attachment of the servo drives to the rollers were designed and installed in this context. The procedural challenge of synchronizing the different web tension ranges was solved using a register preset function. Thanks to successful project management, we mastered the challenge of replacing the switchgear and extensively reconstructed the drive system.

  • The customer’s benefits:

    • Lower maintenance
    • Lower production tolerance
    • Shorter set-up times
